In 2001, centraldereservas.com began operations in the Aragonese Pyrenees town of AÃnsa (Huesca). The first ‘head office’ was in the garage of Carlos Buetas, one of the two founding partners. However, as the company grew, the office quickly had to be moved to larger spaces (up to three times).
The current head office is in a house in a residential neighbourhood of AÃnsa, as offices available in the area are too small to hold the infrastructure required by the constant growth of centraldereservas.com.

centraldereservas.com does more than just handle hotel and travel reservations; it is also committed to economic development and settlement of Sobrarbe, the Pyrenees area in which it is located. As part of its ongoing efforts to demonstrate that it is possible to create new ways of living in the rural area, the company plans to construct an office building in AÃnsa.
The new head office will feature the following:
- 1,500 square metres
- Capacity for 120 employees
- Rental homes for employees next to the building
- Training room
- Activities room
- Meeting room
- Gym
- Restaurant serving healthy and nutritious food
- Day care
The new building aims to make work both more comfortable and more efficient, and to continue attracting qualified professionals to AÃnsa.
In line with its expansion in AÃnsa, the company is growing in Zaragoza as well. In October 2005, it opened a call centre in the capital to meet the demand for online services. Since June 2006, the Zaragoza office also houses a walk-in travel agency, as a tangible reflection of the products offered on the web.
The company was founded to make planning a trip a genuine pleasure for clients. In that vein, the windows of the travel agency are not plastered with signs advertising last-minute deals, as normally seen in such businesses. Rather, the agency is characterised by its avant-garde and hospitable atmosphere, and a genuine interest in discovering other cultures.

Visitors to the travel agency will be impressed by the offer awaiting them:
- a waiting area with computers so they can search for their travel itineraries
- a games area for children, featuring Play Station
- an individual monitor next to the travel agent to view their travel destinations while the agent makes the reservations
- a ‘meeting point for travellers’: a space for conferences, colloquiums, and seminars on travel, featuring a projector for viewing images of other places and cultures. Plans are in place to build a library of travel guides and books for clients to browse through freely.
- personalised ‘feedback’ on destinations: first-hand documentation for each client regarding their destination of choice
- exhibitions on different countries, showing new details of worldwide places of interest
All this, along with a team of professionals who stand ready and willing to help you design the trip of your dreams.
